Mood, horses and pedicures

Raced off early this morning for my mammogram only to find I had the day wrong and it's tomorrow!  
I took C and her younger cousin, S to see the horses today.  C has been so down about the continued pain in her arm that this is the first time we have been to see Moet this year.  He was really pleased to see us, sweet boy.  We found the farrier there giving the horse's toenails a clip and file, back-breaking stuff.  It was a real treat for S to be part of this as she ended up going to catch horses and hold tails during the procedure.   
I'm also delighted that C came away much more positive and has made a plan to go back on Thursday.  There is nothing quite like equine therapy!  
My feet are filthy after walking about in slip-slops so I'll need a self-pedicure before I go to bed!
