Embroidery

One if my dearest friends bought her baby girl home yesterday.

She asked me to make a cushion cover for her nursery in the same fabric as the curtains. There was some fabric left over so I've started on this piece of embroidery which I'm hoping will make a small decorative cushion - the kind you hang up on the back of the door or at a window. I'm adding some sequins and beads as well as embroidered lettering and some vintage lace. I also found some really pretty ribbon that is printed with the words, 'To have and to hold' which I'm going to use make the loop to hang it from. I think you can be a bit soppy when it's a new baby!

Chris still away, Al at a sleepover. Betsy and I have had a wonderful time together, watching movies, chat chat chatting and eating fish fingers, ice cream and maltezers!
