Settling
This is what Mrs G refers to as the Welsh settle. It's a family heirloom. I am not sure how old it is but the carving is lovely and we have moved it around the world with us for many years. I wonder if it remembers its origins? Perhaps in a cottage in Swansea, where Mrs G's family came from.
It is also an easy blip to settle on, given that the light had gone by the time I reached for my camera. I'm still feeling less energetic and rather queasy. I was reluctant to do anything at all but once I'd started I found I had planted eight trees. It's remarkable how we think we can't do something until we start. Then, with our thinking out the way, we just do it.
