Mist

This was the view at the end of the Chris Hatfield trail today. No wonder the sound of the ferry's foghorn has been a regular sound. This is one of the most magical trails here on Salt Spring Island. The hike through the woods has a number of additions to it and every time I go there's something new. The main feature is the faerie village, which I've taken before, but the simple adjustments to natural scenes are probably my favourite. For instance adding a shell or quartz to a moss covered log transforms it into a snake.
