Luminaries

My favourite Christmas gift, now I can read with Saul in the same room as us. The book in question is 2013 booker winner The Luminaries by Emma Catton, a web of intrigue set in 19th century New Zealand, so far so good and readable as well, which is more than can be said for some other booker winners.

Tackled two of my most hated hills on my lunchtime run. Beat one, was beaten by the other. Still felt good being off road for a change.
