Boats In Da Harbour
Gales have been battering the isles today along with massive waves. Showers throughout the day, some wintery and some with thunder and lightning.
The wild windy weather has kept most away from the museum today and it's been fairly quiet. There has been various unkan men about, the gas plant at Sullom Voe was shut due to the weather and we got the men that weren't in the pub. A lot of schools closed early today as well, best keep them at home and safe.
Wonder if I'll be busy in the pub tonight?
The the gales hitting the west coast, here on the east side is more sheltered. Good to see plenty of boats in and taking shelter from the storms and this man is wise wearing his oilskins on. Taken at Holsgarth, Lerwick.
