6.0C with bright spells and a few showers. Wind to 37 mph with gusts to 52 mph (overnight wind to 39 mph with gusts to 59 mph).

Apothecary7's day off. We went to M&S cafe at city quay, bought a few groceries, then had a walk up to the Howff with Maeve the Deerhound. As we made our way to the Howff I spotted these workmen taking down the Christmas decorations. Against the low wintry sun I liked the silhouette with the men on the hoist.

Later there were some rain showers.
