here we go again

After the last couple of winters you could be forgiven for thinking there'd be no more trees that would topple - but this recent batch of storms has taken its toll on the woodland around us.
The farmer was up nice & early to clear the ones off the road - great sense of community spirit - or perhaps he's running low on fire wood - either way I was glad it wasn't me in the pouring rain with a chainsaw at 6:30am - I simply heard the noise & went back to bed.
