Another Dandy

Today was a peaceful day. Arvin and I both needed that. He went to a friend's and spent three hours playing with his toys. ;-) The friend is a dentist who loves machining things. Arvin used to be a tool and dye maker so he likes that stuff too. So he spent the morning in his friends shop.

DJ, our Vancouver friend, stopped by with his kids for a brief mail and package pick up and visit. It was perfect. Half an hour of kids and fun. And then off they went.

I decided to walk up to Big Rock Garden to see if the humming bird babies had hatched. Nope. She's still sitting, facing the other direction, but still settled into the tiny nest. Took a few photos but decided to wait for babies before I blip her again. On the way down the path I took macro shots of this and that including this dandelion. It looks best in the large version.

Now I'm just hanging out on the computer. Soon will make dinner. Now commitments. No worries. Ahhh. Perfect Friday.
