Nana

Popped up to see my Nana tonight. She was looking well and in good form. She hasn't been too well, being treated for a UTI which doesn't sound much but these infections can completely floor the elderly and exhacerbate her confusion.
Conversation and patter was good even if she did ask the same questions over and over again. Her main distress tonight was the fact that it was Sunday and she hadn't made it to chapel.
We laughed and giggled as we observed other elderly resident argue about which zimmer belonged to who! Priceless! At least she still has her sense of humour.
Started a new fitness regime this week with Carolyn. Not going according to plan - blaming this wild weather and not managing to get out for a walk/run. But we have been swimming!
