Mark Cohen Dark Knees Exhibition

Today was the last day of this Mark Cohen exhibition in the Nederlands National Fotomuseum in Rotterdam, so we went for a visit.

To be honest I did not understand why these photographs are considered either good or famous, its an unusual style, parts of people and odd things you may see in the street - but is it only art because nobody dares question its appeal / reason / place / value any more?

My photo attempts to document my day, but also show the transience of art with some people looking, some walking away - or am I in the same trap of trying to explain a photograph which should be able to tell its own story?
