Saturday, January 10, 2015 -- Gift of Delicious

We left the Central Coast this morning, drove through some extremely heavy rain, and arrived at our southern California home this afternoon to find the mail that had arrived the past two weeks while we were gone . . . a pile of envelopes -- bills to pay and a few late Christmas cards -- and one very inviting package. Oh boy!

Then I saw who had mailed the package. I looked at Mr. Fun and said, "Do you know what's in this box?"  I wasn't really asking him as much as I was exclaiming my excitement. I knew exactly what the box contained or at least I had a pretty good hunch. Oh my!

Several Christmases ago, Tookie posted a photo of her hubby "Big R" making delicious holiday treats and back then the two of them mailed some to us. They were so good. I had never had them before and have not had any since. 

Well, today we opened the inviting box, and there they were. A brand new box of Christmas delicious. A gift to us from two people we've never met, but they are as close as friends. How can that be? How does that happen? The magic of Blipfoto is the answer. Blipfoto has made the world a much smaller place and a much nicer place through the combination of the use of a camera and the use of a keyboard.
