....comes around!

The retro theme continues in our house. It is son#1's birthday today and of course we got him a little something apart from the retro sweets I wrapped yesterday! He was really keen on the idea of having a turntable (being just about of the generation who do not remember LPs !!) So we went for a retro looking one which would fit in with his general style....

He was absolutely delighted and we absolutely loved showing him how it works (once we managed to get it out of the box) Both he and his girlfriend were fascinated and loved the rugged sound, which so many of us have long since swapped for the clean and smooth sound you get from a CD.

I have to say, we still love listening to records. We still have P's collection from his DJing days - we are talking 'thousands' which are nicely stored in our 'music room' on Billy Bookcases.

Happy Birthday, Christopher!! One of the two best sons EVER!! So very very proud of you!!
