Another Storm Brewing

Well another early morning rise at 01:20 supposedly but I woke earlier than that and after getting ready and getting my Costa Coffee from the local petrol station I had time on my hands after driving over the Forth Road Bridge and I drove down into South Queensferry to grab a few shots, I had to stand behind a big yellow box container to make sure I didn't get blown about trying to keep my shot in focus as crossing the bridge I got buffeted around like nobody's buisiness, so it was drives to Glasgow Central with a slight diversion as there was overhead wire problems near Motherwell station so I had to be given a *Special Not To Stop Order* for Motherwell station on my way back to Edinburgh, then I had to do an emergency stop at Holytown as the signal for the junction was set for the wrong direction to which I was to be diverted although I technically could have taken the alternate route via Wishaw, but  in the december timtable change we had the Holytown to Wishaw diversionary route taken off our route card but as I have been over the route in the last 6 months my competency is still viable but because it's off my route card I can't so  I told the signaller I had to go via the Shotts line which delayed me as I caught up with a local stopping train as we have to make sure everything is done by the book,then I just had enough time to jump on the 07:28 Scotrail service to Dundee and be given a nice seat in 1st class and the train was very quiet, I had a quick wander by the waterfront but it was very cold so I headed back to the messroom as I was stiffening up so much for my welcome to Dundee hmmm then my drive back to Edinburgh was fine and then home via Costco a quick nap then ribs and wings with chips for dinner yum and back to work with an 08:00 start tomorrrow with a trip to the depot and two trips to Glasgow again anyway my blip was of the rain blowing side on through the Forth Rail bridge in the wee small hours at 02:20am, now then movie for the day is "Welcome To My World 2010" go BIG See Ya
