Midway (Day 4)

Another enjoyable day along the canal, operating locks, walking, watching life go by.  We reached the mid point of our journey today, found a turning hole and began the journey back towards the marina.

There was a bit of rain in the afternoon but not enough to stop us.  We moored by Devils Den, an intersting doorway into the rocks on the opposite side of the canal, away from any footpaths or other access.

Mum and I took a short wander to look at the river we passed over as we moored.  The sun was shining through the trees, reflecting them on the water.  I tried rotating the shot to straighten the trees but too much was lost from the image.  I'm going with "it's really windy in this part of the country, you can tell by the way the trees are leaning".
