Happy Anniversary (Day 3)

Today came an hour earlier than usual.  A special day, both Mothering Sunday and The Boy & I's 8 year anniversary.  We spent the day chugging along the canal, manning the boat and the locks and enjoying some walks.

At lunch we moored near a small town.  The Boy and I headed out to collect Grannie's Sunday paper.

We moored for the evening a little earlier than usual as we had reached the Bratch Flight, locks a little like a staircase but very different.  They come with their own lock keeper.  Mum & I took a walk, we reached the flight so I took some photos so we could learn how to operate the system before the morning.
