Arctic airs
I bravely went outside to try and realign the satellite dish in a hail storm feeling very much like Captain Oates. I did eventually get it working again until twenty minutes later the electricity went off again for another four hours.
To escape the general gloom, both mental and physical, I headed off to Baleshare but hardly left the car. These Barnacle Geese probably spent their summer in Greenland but today it must have felt like they had stayed there for the winter. Biting wind, snow and sleet in the air and not much light to be had anywhere. Not surprising really that they have huddled down below some low dunes to try and escape the worst of it. At least there are no Polar Bears to suddenly appear over the horizon.....
