Close up of a frozen beauty

Thanks for the comments and stars for the rose bud on ice of a drain pipe yesterday. I left the poor rose on the garden flower pot after photographing it - and as I passed the pot and rose today, I noticed it looked especially lovely now. After some snowing...

So, here you have it: Photographed through the 20mm extension tube and with help of a flashlight - again. This time it is the Frozen Beauty.

Today I made a trip to city centre of Tampere with my son and we visited up in the sky - almost. Some lovely shots from Tower hotel - over the snowy city.  These are specially to my mother, as she has not deared to visit the Tower hotel, as she is a bit afraid of the lifts this high...
