Victoria Station

A quick trip up to London and back this morning for a fairly crucial meeting about the prison contract. I was suprised at how quickly we got through the business and were out of the door 15 minutes before the scheduled end of the meeting.

We were prepared for some difficult discussions but the company diverted all that by agreeing to all the deadlines and all the expectations we put on them to ensure the product was ready by the "go live" date.

I was late arriving at a pre-meeting owing to the late arrival of my train to Victoria. As we left Borough Green there was a very loud bang underneath our carriage and I was expecting the train to come to a halt. It did not but the late arrival was attributed to a loss of power leaving Borough Green.

This shot was taken at Victoria as I was awaiting the 13.37 departure back to Kent. The atrocious weather earlier in the day was just clearing away and by the time I arrived home it was a lovely sunny afternoon - just right for a walk to view the floods along Mallards Lake.
