Glorious sunset

I realized I had forgotten an ingredient for dinner tonight when I did a grocery shop yesterday, so I popped out late afternoon to the local supermarket, and on the way, I stopped by the river. It had been another dreary grey day, but there seemed to be a bit of a glow in the sky, so I hoped there may be a fair sunset. There was a glimmer of pink reflected in the water and I took a few shots, but then it seemed to be fading, so I headed to the supermarket, where I was greeted by this gorgeous sight above the tree tops. I guess I should have stayed longer by the river!
