High School Wynd

Oh what an exciting day on the Cigs front.

Armed with two knackered kids (they slept badly due to the gusty wind and associated noises through the night), I again hooked up with the Helsinki Cigs Appreciation Society.

After a brief foray round the Fruitmarket,, we set off down East Market Street, up New Street and up Jacob's Ladder set on the Collective Gallery on Calton Hill. One duff video installation later, we wound our way off the hill; the young Finnish lad spots a tiny Cigs on the Regent Road sign and then on Calton Road as we're looking for Calton Studios and reminiscing about a Tad gig there, we spot two more new ones.

But best of all; I had half an hour to kill before school pick up at lunch time and dropped by Shrubhill (the back bit)

There's a window you can peer in and on the back of the wall I saw being erected to keep the riff raff out is not one but two new Cigs, dated 15.

So three here; all silver pen on black gloss door; on dated 2015, an archetypal single underline / three stripes one and a third just as Cigs.

A productive day. I even made some soup, too..
