Spoor of the Bookworm

By Bookworm1962

Got up dark and early, like normal people do, just for a change. Spent the morning up at the Nuffield for the three month review of our little group on the "Pain Optimisation" course. Most people showed up, which was quite nice, and I suppose it served a useful function in making one deliberately go back over the stuff we are supposed to be implementing, in any event that's that. It's certainly been worthwhile but I can't help reflect on how treatments are increasingly being served up in discrete blocks, usually of 6 sessions, often in a group, a one size fits all edition....it's almost like the NHS is being re-organised into small easily privatisable chunks...can't be that though, after all the Tories promised they wouldn't do things like that....And a pig just flapped past my window....
