Power
The wind has started to whistle and howl around the house and the rain is battering on the windows while things are banging around outside but it's nice and cosy inside. The forecast is for major travel disruption and possible power cuts over most of Scotland over the next 48 hours with the north being especially bad. The Forth Road Bridge is likely to be closed for only the fourth time in its 50 years and at Waverley Station passengers were being advised that tickets for travel tomorrow would be valid today on many routes as many trains would not be running. Fortunately our train going south should be ok but will we return to the devastation of roof slates and ridging blown off again?
This was taken from the bus hence the poor image.
