Why the Long Face?

I've been into town today to meet a friend for lunch, then down to the market for Seville Oranges, so this weekend will be marmalade making.  The weather was really changeable hail, rain, sunshine... as I drove home I thought there might be a nice sunset so I drove up to a local viewpoint, but in the end the sunset was not that impressive and the horses in the field up there were mostly huddled together for warmth.
