Emerging snowdrops and primroses

With the last of the leaves from the oak tree blown away by the gales, the first snowdrops are just starting to flower, as are the primroses. Last year the primroses flowered all through the winter, but they haven't done so this time - probably exhausted from last year's effort, though the overall weather has been mild.
