Reflections
Potentially DS#2's last day - and indeed Tricia's for a while - so off to the childhood beach on Berneray. Not that many years ago, all it took was a Mars bar to induce both the DSs to swim here in February. I fear nowadays the price would be higher.
Always a stunning spot, the sun suddenly came out and with the wet sand, light was bouncing around everywhere.
We had already visited the beach at Rushgarry and came away with a good haul of Cowries. Otherwise a hot chocolate at TC in Lochmaddy ended up being a Gearradubh reunion and a pint of Corncrake Ale in the Langass Lodge was welcome.
The forecast for tomorrow is very windy and so the fatted calf was left alive this time.
