Cloudy Morning

We are grateful for some cooler days at the moment.  However the cooler weather meant clouds for most of the day.  The dull light still allowed for some interesting photography.  The summer colours, although a little muted seemed somehow richer.  The sun appeared very briefly at times during my early morning walk but I have chosen an un-sunlit image for my blip today. 

We are due to move from our present home in less than a month now so the pressure is on to pack up as much of our belongings as possible.  Keith has been delving into a big walk-in cupboard in what was his consulting room.  He is retrieving, would you believe, his old medical school textbooks and packing them up.  He hopes that some books, due to their great age, will prove to be valuable.  Once we are settled in our new home he intends to attempt to make his fortune by selling off textbooks and his late father’s book collection.  We shall see……
