Underneath the arches

A wet start ,but dried up by mid morning. An artic load of fertilizer arrived in at 8am. Had to borrow a neighbours telehandler to empty it as they were in 2 tonne packs,and our loader will only life 1.5 tonnes.
Spent a fair amount of time on the phone and sorting paper work today. Not the bits of farming I enjoy much.
Spent most of lunch time hanging off a ladder fitting a new light thingy in the staircase that Mrs F got in the sales. Not a lot of thanks for my death defying efforts though,seemingly shortening the hanging chain by bunching it up with a cable tie doesn't look right. I even used a white one so it would blend in ! Seems to avoid divorce, I will be hanging off a ladder again tomorrow lunch time !
This bridge carries the A68 near Pathhead. I wonder how many folk who drive over it even notice!
