A Cloud Of Many Colours.
Hi Alex and Louise
It's amazing the beauty you see from your own back door.
After yesterday's shock news I have now entered numerous charity events. I'm already doing dryathlon and started up my justgiving page for that. I had £10 donated from an anonymous donor which is really kind. I'm not going to ask for sponsorship for everything but for the ones out of my comfort zone I will. Every little helps as they say.
I've been to the pool again today. I had every intention of cycling to the pool but couldn't find the safety lock for it. never mind. I'll get into a routine with all this training. I took Michael, the guy I'm helping with his swimming again today. He's really coming on. On his first day he could only swim half lengths, had never swum front crawl or backstroke and could only do a few strokes of breaststroke badly. Today I had him swimming front crawl, backstroke and many lengths on breaststroke. He's pleased and I'm pleased with him. We have a long way to go but I'm hopeful we will get there by July. Today was lesson number 3.
Tonight I return to my beloved Zumba class.
Thank you to all my blip friends who sent thinking of you messages yesterday. I was floored by news of my sister in law. We found out she has terminal cancer. Nothing they can do apart from chemo and hopefully she will qualify to trial a new drug. She is only 44. Her daughter is getting married on 14th Feb and my trip over to the wedding was meant to be such a joyous occasion. It still will be I'm sure. It has to be for my nieces sake. My brothers wife is a fighter though and won't go down without a battle.
