St. Athan Parish Church
This lovely church in the village of St. Athan in the Vale of Glamorgan is grade 1 listed and is dedicated to Saint Tathan, a Celtic saint who founded a church here in the 6th century. The present church built on the site of the original church is 14th century and is built to a crucifix form. The central tower contains six bells dated 1635, 1707, 1720 and two further bells were added in 1919
