Home sweet home..

sort of. After my flight being delayed for 90 minutes from Bangkok it was great collapsing into bed (now improved by the addition of this quilt made by my excellent Grandma). Still wasn't thrilled about not being in the UK though. 

The journey was however much improved by being upgraded to Business class on my flight from Dubai. It was SO much better than economy. Started with a glass of Moet, sleeping on a flat bed with a mattress and proper pillow, tablet to control my lighting, TV, chair and window blinds, Bvlgari bag of toiletries, extensive wine list, real cutlery and glass etc etc. All in all a much better experience. I think it will be miserable the next long haul flight I have to do back where I can afford the ticket! 

Flying and sleeping was all I did so it felt like I basically missed the start of 2015.
