Just Us and the Seagulls
We spent a very lovely couple of hours walking the boardwalk at Jones Beach. It was quite cold but we were dressed for it. The sun shone beautifully on the wide expanse of white beach that has been a recreational haven for New Yorkers since the early 1930's. Today it was nearly deserted which made it all the nicer. There is something very special about the beach in winter.
This fellow is not nearly as exotic as the birds posted in blips from down under but I still thought he looked quite fetching in winter white.
Still trying to get used to the Polaroid news and figure out what it actually means. I am glad to have the iPhone app back and assume that the iPad app release is imminent. I was amused by a blip I saw earlier that provided the explanation for the white background--a pair of Polaroid Sunglasses. Now it all makes sense!
