Tuesday, December 30, 2014 Emerson

Our 23 year old grandson, Emerson, spent the afternoon with us here at the Central Coast. This was his first time to see the place we've purchased here for our retirement years.

Emerson was returning from a roadtrip he and a friend had made to Portland, OR. His friend lives just in land from here in the city of Paseo Robles, so it just made sense for Emerson to stop here. We were excited for him to see this place.

The three pooches were very excited to see Emerson. So to help them quickly get over their craziness, we put their leashes on and walked them to our favorite beach lookout and that's where I captured this photo.

Then we walked back to the house, and Emerson stayed till after sundown and then headed back to spend the remainder of the evening with his friend in Paseo Robles.

Emerson hadn't been gone long when our friends, Marilyn & Jim, arrived. They had a motel room booked here for tonight and tomorrow night. They are on their way back to the Seattle area where they currently live and we are thrilled that they've elected to spend a couple nights here so we can hang out with them and show them our favorite little beach town.
