Sleep it off

New Year evening finished at 4:00am with a really good bout of toothache from the same place as the dentist did a quick fix just before Christmas. Took an overdose of strong painkiller and that ended the pain and ensured I didn't get to enjoy any of the wonderful sun that appeared all day.

Didn't even get to say bye to our overnight guests, thank them for their presents and most importantly have a play with Timmy who by the way is a Havanese (for those confused by yesterdays Cuban refugee remark).

Managed to get up at 23:00 to quickly Blip Cindy lying on top of the tiled fireplace stove. Just noticed on the left of the fireplace, Bliper PurbeckDavid49's Christmas card. In the center, one of several from daughter Kate and family, the rest of the cards are just out of view.
