there was no starting of the new year with a swim. The pool has been sick since we arrived - but it is now beyond using. Chemical imbalance seems to be the likely culprit - along with filtration.  Looks like it could be out of action for a while.

More batching up at the Homestead, making an array of curry pastes for later use. Dinner pool side, before finding ourselves on the sofa for some comedy tv & making the last of the Christmas gifts (its an IOU)

We begin the drive home tomorrow....
