Happy New Year...

.....and Happy Birthday to my wonderful husband!

It's been an inauspicious start to the year - woke up with a migraine this morning (definitely a migraine and not a hangover before you jump to conclusions! We had a quiet night last night!). Got up with Lottie to sort out hubby's birthday presents, watched  him open them and then crawled back into bed for an hour.

We had had plans for the day - we did make it to the cinema and watched Paddington, which I really enjoyed apart from the noise and the big screen! At that point I opted out and went back to bed while they went off to the in-laws. I slept for two hours solid and did feel a bit more human when I got up - we had take away pizza instead of going out for tea.

Just time to do my first blip of the year and then I'm off to bed - back to normal in the morning, work and month end!
