A New Start

We had a great night last night at the Captain & The Captain's Mate's house.
A super meal with super company (old and new friends).

Home some time after 2.30am.
Up at 9.30am
Power cut at 10.15am

After lunch we gave in and headed over to Bag's house for a bit of warmth and as it turned out - dinner.
The power wasn't restored until 6pm when they connected  a huge generator to the substation at the end of the road.
Apparently it will take a couple of days before the permanent repair will be completed.

I think I am going to dig out my generator (which I had completely forgotten about), get dome fuel and make sure it is in running order.
