Fuzzy Squib

I should know better than to attempt hand held firework shots at just after midnight.  But emboldened as I was, by a few beers and a glass of sekt, I thought I'd give it a try.

Not a Huge Success but there we go. 

If you've never been in Germany for Silvester, I would recommend it.  The Germans have a reputation for being somewhat dour - a reputation that gets flung out the window at Silvester.  They really know how to have blimmen great time.

It's 1500 for me today.  It's been a lot  of fun getting here even if I've learned very little photographically speaking - maybe this year I can try to learn a bit about taking photographs instead of pictures of things.  To those of you who visit and comment, thank you very much - it's a surprise that anyone bothers to read at all, to those who visit occasionally, thanks very much and good to know that people do look.  Blip has been a good part of my four years of being an Ausländer.  Re-reading some of my old entries, I'm struck by how much utter rubbish I can witter on about.

Anyway, you go off and have a lovely evening.  We're celebrating here by having cottage pie and another bottle of Sekt.
