Happy New Meh!

Living in the centre of the city meant that I would benefit from the spectacular New Year's Eve fireworks display from the comfort of my flat. But this year its gone a bit meh. The Fireworks seemed to go off away from the Council House, and gone is the lovely coloured light rotation around  the building. Even these more muted bangs were not enough to drive my neighbour to come out with her usual "<expletive> Happy New Year". 
But I did hear the usual reinterpretation of Old Lang Syne being sung from the crowd
