Chasing a Chaster

We finally got home this morning at 3.30 am - couldn't sleep even though we were both very travel weary.  However, managed a couple of hours.

Had a leisurely breakfast - I unpacked and did the washing, Doug gave the lawns a haircut.  Everything is extremely and critically dry, the lawn is crisp, the veggie garden is good as we had friends who came and kept the water up.  A lot of wastage though while we have been away.

I love being home :)

Tonight we are out for dinner with two ex blippers and husbands, then to the Caroline Bay Concert - billed as a "super star show" so should be good.  I've been deheading my roses and having a general garden tidy up this afternoon - more to be done tomorrow.  The joys of having a holiday 

A very tired Rainie will endeavor to have a catch up with my blip friends over the next couple of days.
