Catching the early morning sun

Woke early enough this morning to take a short run before having to set off to drive to the North Shore from Snells. Despite evidence of rain on the deck and lots of clouds in the sky, the east was quickly getting lighter, and more colourful.

I chased the sunrise and got a number that could have been blipped as the last (for me) sunrise of 2014. However, S and I agreed that the oyster catcher running along in front of the waves struck by gold is the best for today.
