A Christmas Tome

Time out on a Monday is rare but welcome as we delve into the wonderful gifts that Christmas brings. This book, by John L MacDougall provides  remarkable outlines of the pioneer settler families that were to be found in Inverness County, Nova Scotia. Mary has a particular interest in the Gillises of Margaree who moved from Morar -  her maternal Grandmother's folks. Maybe, one day we'll get to visit the distant cousins - what a delightful cèilidh that would be!
