Christmas Crafts

Years ago, G, our daughter R and I made these little wall hangings.   G cut the blocks of wood and R and I painted them.  Then  R and I cut out old Christmas cards and pieces of material with Christmas themes and glued them to the wood.  We painted some kind of fixative over them, but I can't remember what it was.  G drilled holes for the wires and threaded the wires through the holes and twirled the ends.   It was fun and special that we all contributed something to them.  We gave them to friends and family for presents.  I love hanging my little selection of them around the house at this time of year.  
I'm still experimenting with the flash I got for birthday/Christmas and I'm not happy with the glare in this.  Busy day though, so a quick blip has to do.

When I tried to post my blip yesterday, I got a message saying that I already had an entry posted for the day.   Somehow the one I posted on the 28th was showing on the 29th.  I don't know how that happened and was able to correct it.  Has anyone else had this happen?  It's a first for me.
