Hanging on in quiet desperation

I was looking forward to some quiet time today but it all feels a bit flat.
Tried to go shopping for Mr EAnn's birthday present but it all went a bit pear-shaped and we ended up coming home without what we wanted and with my arm aching.
Now doing more research on t'internet and drinking tea so it's looking a bit better.
Any road the upshot is that I am definitely not getting out of my chair so this is the best I can do today.
