Rabbit Island

Boxing Day and it seems that half of the Nelson/Tasman population goes to Rabbit Island for a picnic or BBQ.
It is a great spot with plenty of room for all.

The sea was incredibly warm, but as you can see in this photo (which looks back at Nelson port, on the left), it was very choppy.

Great for wave riding and jumping & diving under.the waves.
