Are the rabbits safe?

J and G have a very lovely and large garden near Nelson but the visiting rabbits are a problem!

So be gave them our old 25 y.o. slug gun (a Diana 15 from memory) to scare the rabbits away.

None of us really believed it would work but we gave it a try, from 15 metres at first, then 25 metres and finally 35 metres.

Apart from a slight pull to the right (just 50-60mm over 35 metres isn't bad) it still shot well.

be is always the best marksperson in our family and she starred again, narrowly missing the bullseye a few times.
Move over Annie Oakley.

G and her sister L hit the target OK, once they finally realised they had been closing the wrong eye to line up the sights!

But it was J who finally hit the tiny bullseye from 35 metres.

Now where are those pesky rabbits?
