A Winter Walk around Strinesdale Reservoir

As there's no sign of snow around my home, it was a surprise to find so much on the ground, just a 10 minute drive from our home.
It was 2C outside, but the walk was just what we needed after spending so many days indoors.
The reservoir was iced over in the centre - enough to hold a seagull's weight. It was so misty we couldn't see too far ahead as we walked.
My OH is back to work tomorrow, and I will be driving to the Trafford Centre to take my daughter and her friend shopping. I'm taking my Dad as company for me - as once we get there I would otherwise be on my own for several hours. I wonder what Dad will think, it's his first time there - better remind him to bring his most comfortable shoes!!!
