Good Friends

We spent the day baking as we were providing the dessert course for the dinner party at our friends home.  

I hardly ever make desserts, so the challenge was to make something really special - the resulting dishes - a pavlova and Tia Maria baked cheesecake went down very well.  

It was a lovely evening, with easy conversation and great food. As we sat in the lounge, I started to wilt a little and my eyes became heavy. I fought against my tiredness, but then we realised it was 3am! 

Good friends make an evening go very quickly indeed!
