First snow of winter.

A bitterly cold morning but lovely sun and clear blue skies worthy of a short stroll through the village.

Much of the Boxing Day snow has gone but there are frozen patches on the more shaded ground and higher places like Wilsden Hill in the background here above our village.

There are horses kept in this field and I'm sure today they were glad of their coats, you could see their warm breath in the cold air.

Lots of ice about but certainly better than all the rain and mud!
