Arches over the Dichty

A bright, sunny winter's day.

We were at our own church this morning with our family. It was good to be there after a week or so of being at other churches as we visited family over the Christmas period.

On the way home, with the sun shining brightly, I thought it would be good to blip these arches again, but from lower down to take in the Dichty Water. Originally the arches were part of an aqueduct but now it is a pathway.

We are fortunate in having some lovely weather but are mindful that other parts of the UK are experiencing some bad weather at the moment.  Also, while most of us are enjoying a season of celebration, others in our world know only unremitting hardship - so I guess we need to be truly thankful for what we have and not take it for granted.
